As part of the 4th SESAR INNOVATIONS DAYS conference (to be held from November 25th to 27th, 2014 at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain), HALA! will present a workshop on "Progress on Automation applied to ATM: Challenging areas in future ATM System".

HALA! Research Network its finalising the new version of its Position Paper. The tutorial will present the work done by HALA! in exploring conventional and unconventional areas, involving new technologies and concepts, on the theme “Toward Higher Levels of Automation in future Air Traffic Management Systems. The Position Paper expresses the view of the Network regarding challenges of automation applied to future ATM system and establishes the basis for the future research activities within the Network and the ATM Community concerning these applications.

Within the SESAR WP-E framework, the 4th edition of SESAR INNOVATION DAYS (SID) annual conference will be held in Madrid at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), on the premises of the Aeronautical engineering school, between 25th and 27th November 2014. HALA! Network- Toward Higher Levels of Automation in ATM, coordinated by the UPM, is supporting SESAR and EUROCONTROL in the organization and preparation of the conference.
