All participants are being invited to partake in the HALA research network forums on specifics issues in the white paper. The HALA white Paper is in its final stage of completion and the contributions of participants will be the final input to the document to make it official guide for the research network activities. This and other forums have been started on different issues concerning the white paper on the HALA website for this purpose.
It is common in system development to validate system function by first validating that the system does what it is supposed to in a nominal state. Secondly the validation is directed to what may go wrong, and how to handle that. Although much effort is being directed to handling these issues, one important issue is that although automation efforts often exclude human operators, the human operators tend to be subjected to exactly those situations in which the automation has ceased to function, or functions erroneously.
